Job summary

MacKillop Family Services is seeking a passionate Referrals and Case Support Officer to join the OOHC team in Western Australia. You will coordinate referrals, provide intake support, handle administrative tasks, and assist with casework to ensure timely and appropriate placements for children and families.

You will collaborate with Case Managers, the Therapeutic team, and Carer Recruitment to build strong relationships with carers and government agencies, while safeguarding the wellbeing of

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and child safeguarding.
• Experience in Out of Home Care or foster care is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals, intake processes and placement matching for children and young people.
• Provide administrative and casework support, including arranging appointments and preparing documentation.
• Assist Case Managers with placement transitions and service coordination.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carers, government agencies and community organisations.
• Maintain confidential client information and support reporting and quality improvement.
