Job summary

MacKillop Family Services in Perth, WA is recruiting a Support Worker to build structured, empowering relationships with children and young people in OOHC, helping them achieve recreation, social, life and development goals. You will work within our Out of Home Care Perth team reporting to the OOHC Coordinator.

Responsibilities include providing activities outside the home to support foster placements and give foster carers time away from direct supervision, while adhering to trauma-informed

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Community Services, Disability, Individual Support or similar desired.
• Current and Valid Western Australia Licence.
• Ability to relate to and work with children and young people with trauma and complex needs.
