Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking a PLC Supervisor to oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and optimisation of PLC and industrial control systems across civil infrastructure projects in Adelaide. You will lead site automation, manage subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and support system integration with SCADA and HMI.

Qualifications

• Trade or engineering qualification in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Experience supervising PLC/automation works on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and control schematics.
• Experience with major PLC platforms and SCADA/HMI integration.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise PLC technicians, electricians, and automation subcontractors on site.
• Coordinate daily automation activities with construction and commissioning schedules.
• Provide technical guidance to site personnel and mentor team members.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS and standards.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and commissioning of PLC systems and networks.
• Review control documentation and ensure FAT/SAT procedures are followed.
• Plan PLC testing, loop checks, and system commissioning activities.
• Interface with Electrical, Mechanical, and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain commissioning records and support handover packages.
