Job summary

Alliance Automation in Sydney is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join our team. With about 2–3 years of industry experience and a solid foundation in PLC, SCADA and industrial automation, you’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle from design through site commissioning.

Working with experienced engineers, you’ll develop and modify PLC/SCADA applications, assist with specifications and testing, troubleshoot issues and help deliver high‑quality engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in control systems or automation.
• Solid foundation in PLC and SCADA.
• Good understanding of industrial automation fundamentals.
• Relevant degree in Electrical/Mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development and delivery of control systems projects.
• Develop PLC/SCADA applications under guidance.
• Assist with specifications, drawings and test procedures.
• Contribute to site testing, FAT and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot control systems and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements.
