Job summary

Newmont Cadia is seeking an Electrical Compliance Engineer to ensure the safe, reliable operation of its electrical infrastructure at Cadia, NSW. You will work with the Statutory Electrical Engineer to apply electrical governance, risk management and asset integrity across major projects.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and experience in mining or heavy industry with electrical compliance exposure. A residential roster is offered at Cadia near Orange, NSW.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
• Experience in mining, utilities or heavy industry with electrical compliance exposure.
• Knowledge of electrical safety legislation and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable and compliant operation of Cadia electrical infrastructure.
• Support governance, risk management and asset integrity activities.
• Review electrical designs and compliance documentation.
