Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an on-site HSE Advisor for the Goyder BESS project near Adelaide. You will support front-line crews, drive safety culture, and ensure compliance across civil, electrical and HV works on a major battery storage project.

You'll work closely with the HSE Manager and project team, with a 10/4 roster and on-site duties tailored to construction activities. Adelaide-based candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HSE Advisor on renewable energy, power, infrastructure or major construction projects.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent).
• Comfortable working a 10/4 roster.
• Strong site presence and ability to build credibility with frontline teams.
• Practical approach to safety, including experience with incident reporting and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, day-to-day HSE support across site activities.
• Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and onsite safety conversations.
• Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.
• Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with the HSE Management System.
