UGL is delivering a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in western Queensland, seeking an Environmental Advisor to support site environmental management across all construction phases. You will ensure compliance, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and drive responsible work practices on site.

Qualificações

• Experience as an onsite Environmental Advisor in renewable energy, power, utilities, infrastructure or major projects.
• Qualifications in Environmental Science or a related discipline with knowledge of environmental legislation.
• Experience supporting environmental compliance on large-scale renewable energy/BESS construction projects, including site inspections and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence positive outcomes across project teams.
• Solutions-focused with ability to work a DIDO roster and build strong working relationships on site.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day environmental support across construction activities, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Embed and maintain environmental management plans, procedures and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and environmental monitoring to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with environmental incidents, investigations, corrective actions and reporting.
• Work closely with project teams, supervisors and subcontractors to promote environmental awareness and drive continuous improvement.
