Job summary

UGL is seeking an onsite HSE Advisor for the Goyder BESS project near North East of Adelaide. You will support safe delivery of civil, electrical and HV construction works, working alongside HSE leaders and project teams on a remote site roster.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HSE Advisor on renewable energy, power, infrastructure or major construction projects.
• Strong site presence and ability to build credibility with frontline teams.
• Practical approach to safety, including incident reporting and investigations.
• Comfortable working a 10/4 roster.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, day-to-day HSE support across site activities.
• Support pre-starts, toolbox talks and onsite safety conversations.
• Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions.
• Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with UGL's HSE Management System.
