Job summary

Egis is recruiting a Health Safety and Training Coordinator to join the QSES team, chiefly at Kingsgrove and Homebush sites, NSW. You will support to roll out HSE initiatives, monitor ICMS documentation, and act as on-site H&S and Return-to-Work Coordinator while coordinating training needs.

The role requires a valid White Card, First Aid, and Training delivery capabilities. A 24/7 project environment and occasional night shifts are part of the job. Right to work in Australia is assumed.

Qualifications

• Proven WHS experience in construction, maintenance or similar field.
• Experience administering HSE systems (e.g., Rapid, Permitted).
• Experience conducting risk assessments and reviewing SWMS; knowledge of safety documentation.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Advanced computer skills including Excel.
• Willingness to obtain additional WHS certifications as needed.
• Certificate IV in WHS is preferred with willingness to obtain if not held.
• Return to Work Coordinator training preferred with willingness to obtain if not held.
• Strong presentation skills for leading pre-start and toolbox meetings.
• White Card and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily pre-starts, monthly toolbox meetings and risk assessments.
• Ensure safe work practices are observed at all times.
• Support occupational health, safety and environmental requirements across sites.
