Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services in Sydney NSW is seeking an HSE Coordinator to oversee health, safety and environment requirements across NSW depots. This permanent, full-time position offers exposure to open space, construction and commercial painting, with a strategic and hands-on approach to zero harm goals.

You will manage incident reporting, site inspections, HSEQ system administration, inductions and training, and provide sound safety advice while partnering with managers and staff to

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in Occupational Health & Safety, and who possesses first-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
• Tertiary qualification in Health Safety and Environment or relevant experience & qualification
• Driver’s license
• Excellent time management, organisational and administration skills
• Relationship‑building skills, including the ability to partner with managers and employees
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the management of the HSEQ Management Systems at each of the NSW/ACT depots
• Perform incident reporting and investigations
• Conduct site inspections and audits
• Provide sound HSEQ advice and support as required
• Support the development and delivery of HSEQ information and communication
• Delivery of inductions, training, and assessments, as required
• Collection and collation of HSEQ data, with the ability to interpret and provide improvement recommendations
