Job summary

Kinetic IT in Canberra is seeking a Security Analyst to work onsite with a Federal Government customer, helping protect critical technology services across server, network, endpoint and broader infrastructure.

You will assess security risks, support the implementation of security controls and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the customer's security posture, with a focus on monitoring, incident response and compliance with Australian government frameworks.

Qualifications

• Active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 or NV2) is mandatory.
• Broad knowledge of infrastructure security across server, network and endpoint environments.
• Experience identifying security risks, vulnerabilities and control gaps with remediation actions.
• Understanding of security monitoring, incident response and security controls.
• Knowledge of the ISM and PSPF is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement, able to work with customer representatives.

• Support incident response activities and strengthen security practices.
