Job summary

As a Security Analyst embedded onsite within one of Kinetic IT’s Federal Government customer environments, you’ll help protect critical technology services across server, network, endpoint and broader infrastructure.

Working as part of a collaborative technical team, you’ll assess security risks, support the implementation of security controls and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the customer’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Active AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 or NV2).
• Broad knowledge of infrastructure security across server, network and endpoints.
• Experience identifying security risks, vulnerabilities and control gaps with remediation actions.
• Understanding of security monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of ISM and PSPF is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a Federal Government environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess security risks across infrastructure and services.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls.
• Monitor and analyze infrastructure security; identify vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Contribute to incident response activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen security practices.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Government security frameworks and customer requirements.
