Job summary

JBS Australia, part of the global JBS business, is seeking a Documentation Officer based at our Northern Operations head office in Riverview, Ipswich. You will be responsible for accurately completing shipping documentation for various markets and vessels.

Key duties include preparing forwarding instructions, Bills of Lading, health certificates, packing lists, Certificates of Origin, Letters of Credit, and printing Bills of Lading. All files must be archived within 14 days of sailing.

Qualifications

• Experience in a documentation and/or shipping role is advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to respond calmly in difficult situations with a strong customer service focus.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completing shipping documentation for various markets and vessels.
• Preparing forwarding instructions, Bills of Lading, health certificates, invoices and packing lists.
• Arranging Certificates of Origin, managing banking drafts and lodgements, processing Letters of Credit.
• Printing Bills of Lading for shipping lines managed in-house.
• Ensuring all files are completed and archived within 14 days of sailing.
