JBS Australia in Hemmant near the Brisbane port is seeking an experienced Dispatch Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, you will process orders, prepare dispatch documentation, monitor transport schedules and ensure accurate movement of stock to domestic and export customers.

Our JBS Hemmant Cold Store Facility is currently recruiting an experienced Dispatch Clerk to join our team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in the efficient dispatch of chilled and frozen products to domestic and export customers. Working closely with warehouse teams and transport providers, you will be responsible for processing orders, preparing and maintaining dispatch documentation, monitoring transport schedules and ensuring the accurate movement of stock.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administration professional looking to further develop their logistics career within a global organisation that is leading the way in the meat industry.

• Starting rate is $31.13 per hour + penalties
• Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday | 2pm to 10pm

About You

• Previous experience in a similar shipping, warehousing or logistics role preferred
• Previous experience with transport scheduling advantageous
• Intermediate computer literacy skills, specifically within MS Excel
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
