Job summary

Datacom in Australia is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide End User Services at client sites, including onsite support and coverage as required. Aligned to our customers' business requirements, we provide tailored maintenance services, hardware and software break/fix support, remote support, software deployment and relocation services.

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.

Qualifications

Excellent customer experience in end user services.
Ability to prioritise work to meet SLAs.
Knowledge of laptops, desktop PCs, printers, media and AV equipment, BYOD and mobility.
Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical info to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Be the reliable first point of contact; log, triage and resolve tickets to a documented standard.
Troubleshoot desktop and laptop faults and perform driver/patch management.
Handle identity and access requests; password resets and MFA re-registration.
Provision devices for new starters; enrolment and app/package deployment.
Support mobility devices; configure and troubleshoot connectivity and apps.
Manage hardware, peripherals and print services; track assets and warranties.
Document fixes clearly for knowledge sharing.
