Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer in the Gosford area of New South Wales, Australia. You will provide End User Services to Datacom’s customers, including hardware deployment, break/fix support, remote assistance, software deployment, and relocation services.

Eligibility requires Australian citizenship. You’ll work to ensure high customer satisfaction, manage equipment deployment readiness, and maintain records in the ITSM tool while meeting SLA commitments.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer experience with end user services.
• Ability to prioritise work to meet SLAs.
• Knowledge of laptops, desktops, printers, AV equipment, BYOD and mobility.
• Clear verbal and written communication; can explain technical info to non-technical audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user support with focus on customer satisfaction.
• Assist new users with IT hardware setup and deployment readiness.
• Ensure devices are up to date before release to customers.
• Record interactions in ITSM tool and update customers with progress.
• Deliver services in line with SLAs and best practices.
• Proactively manage and maintain customer infrastructure as directed.
• Drive service/process improvements and adhere to ITIL processes.
