Job summary

ACCIONA Energía is seeking a regional onboarding and competency lead to ensure every worker is site-ready on a major transmission project in Australia. You will manage the competency framework, verify licences and training, and lead two safety administrators while coordinating with HSE and project managers.

The role is based on a regional project with camp-based requirements, offering mentoring and leadership development pathways within ACCIONA.

Qualifications

• Experience in competency or compliance systems.
• Experience coordinating onboarding and leading a team.
• Knowledge of licences, certifications and WHS requirements.
• Construction, utilities, energy or infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the competency management system and role-based competency matrices.
• Coordinate onboarding of employees, contractors and subcontractors before mobilisation.
• Verify licences, tickets, medicals and competency evidence before site access.
• Monitor expiry dates and manage renewals, refresher training and reassessments.
• Act as primary contact for subcontractor onboarding and compliance.
• Lead and develop the safety administrators and allocate their work.
• Report on compliance, improve processes and support audits.
