ACCIONA is seeking a regional Onboarding and Competency Lead to ensure every worker is site-ready on a major transmission project in Victoria. You will own the competency framework, verify licences and trainings, and partner with HSE, People & Culture, managers and labour providers to keep records current.

You will lead two safety administrators, drive renewals and support audits. This is a camp-based regional role with development opportunities within ACCIONA's Australian operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with competency or compliance systems such as 3D Safety.
• Proven ability to coordinate onboarding and lead a team.
• Knowledge of licences, certifications and WHS requirements.
• Background in construction, utilities, energy or infrastructure projects.

Responsabilités

• Monitor expiry dates and manage renewals, refresher training and reassessments.

Project Information

Help deliver a new 500 kV double-circuit transmission line project that will connect more than 3,000 MW of new renewable generation to the grid and power up to one million homes. The scope spans earthworks and access tracks, tower foundations, steel supply and erection, logistics and regional camp accommodation.

About the Opportunity

Report to the Manager, Operational Services and lead two safety administrators. You will own the competency and onboarding framework, so every employee, contractor and subcontractor holds the right licences, tickets and training before starting work. As the main contact for subcontractors, you will partner with HSE, People and Culture, project managers and supervisors, as well as labour hire providers and training organisations. Track expiry dates and elevate gaps early. Improve systems, report on compliance and keep the project ready for audits.

Location and conditions

This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
