Job summary

Consolidated Linen Service in Hervey Bay is seeking a proactive Safety and Quality Coordinator to strengthen safety culture on the plant floor while supporting safety and quality initiatives across CLS.

Reporting to the Group Head of People and Safety (Airlie Beach) and collaborating with the Hervey Bay Operations Manager, you will help ensure the Safety Management Framework is compliant and actively lived.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or working towards).
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or industrial safety roles.
• Understanding of WHS legislation and risk management.
• Strong communication and administrative capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visible safety presence on the plant floor and identify hazards.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigations and corrective actions.
• Audit safety and quality systems and manage documentation across CLS sites.
• Develop training content and support group training programs.
• Assist HR admin processes and maintain accurate employee records.
