Job summary

FKG Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our on-site team in the North Queensland region. You will be based on-site at various project locations, supporting daily operations on large commercial projects and ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in Engineering or Construction Management, plus advanced WHS knowledge and excellent communication skills to coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients throughout the

Qualifications

Relevant practical experience delivering large commercial construction projects.
Advanced knowledge of WHS regulations and practices on construction sites.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide construction and administrative support for daily on-site operations on large commercial projects.
Oversee work of construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedules and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure plans and specifications are followed.
Maintain project quality assurance and contractual documentation.
Provide guidance to project team on building construction matters; liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Coordinate between project managers, clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
