Job summary

Genus Industrial Services, part of the GenusPlus Group, is seeking an organised Project Administrator to support the Baranduda Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Wodonga, Victoria. You will coordinate day-to-day administration, maintain project documentation and support onboarding, mobilisation, procurement and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or site administration, ideally within construction, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience supporting onboarding, mobilisation and document control processes.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice processing and cost tracking.
• Clear communication and a proactive, team‑focused approach.
• Current Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and site teams.
• Maintain project documentation, records, registers and document control processes.
• Coordinate onboarding and mobilisation activities, including compliance documentation and site access requirements.
• Assist with purchasing, purchase orders, invoice processing and procurement tracking.
• Support cost tracking and the preparation of project reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes and follow up on actions.
• Assist with timesheets, travel and accommodation arrangements as required.
• Liaise with employees, subcontractors and suppliers to support project requirements.
