Job summary

ACCIONA Mechanical & Electrical is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in South Australia to oversee all mechanical aspects of a construction project, coordinate work crews, enforce safety compliance and maintain quality on site.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with engineers and site teams to keep delivery on time and within budget. Your technical leadership and problem-solving ability will be central to safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Trades qualification in construction, building or manufacturing.
• Experience in a construction, engineering or industrial environment.
• Previous experience as a Foreman or Supervisor.
• Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation.
• Strong communication skills to direct and influence teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Optimise construction processes to lift efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and direct mechanical work crews, resolving conflicts fairly.
• Enforce ACCIONA procedures, OMRs and permit compliance on site.
• Manage program risk, resourcing and critical path to protect schedule.
• Monitor quality standards and address non-conformities promptly.
• Report progress, risks and program status to project leadership.
