Job summary

Bouygues Construction Australia is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor for our precast production facility in Adelaide. You will lead the mechanical function on site, ensuring fixed plant, equipment and machinery operate safely, reliably and efficiently to support continuous production.

You will work hands-on with boilermakers and fitters, provide direction, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, and drive improvements to minimise downtime in a demanding manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker required.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing mechanical or maintenance teams.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to lead by example on the floor.
• Hands-on supervisor with day-to-day operational involvement.
• Calm under pressure in production-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of fixed plant, preventative maintenance and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical function on site for the precast production facility.
• Ensure fixed plant, equipment and machinery operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
• Provide clear direction, technical guidance and on-the-spot problem solving to respond to breakdowns.
