Job summary

EnerMech in Henderson, WA, is seeking a Maintenance Leading Hand for a full-time on-site role. You will diagnose mechanical faults, perform troubleshooting, and lead workshop activities to ensure equipment is ready for mobilisation per project plans.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, coordinating trades, and working with project teams to improve asset reliability and readiness. On-site duties cover workshops, yards and facilities across operations.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or demonstrated hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, diesel, hydraulic faults.
• Ability to lead trades and coordinate workshop priorities.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, testing and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting support for compressors, pumps, engines and related gear.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily workshop tasks and guide trades and contractors.
• Prepare equipment for mobilisation/demobilisation per Load Out Plan.
• Ensure maintenance, inspections, and client requirements are completed before release.
• Coordinate facility maintenance across workshops, yards and sites.
• Raise and track facility repairs with service providers.
