Job summary

Civmec is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a major project in Eneabba, WA. You will lead mechanical construction activities on site, manage crews and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across mining, oil & gas, resources or heavy industrial scopes.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will plan labour, monitor progress, interpret drawings and coordinate equipment, with strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Mechanical Supervisor or in similar senior roles.
• Experience delivering mechanical construction works in mining, oil & gas, resources or heavy industrial projects.
• Australian Mechanical Trade Qualification and White Card; current Driver's Licence; Schedule 26 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation and construction activities on site.
• Lead crews to achieve safety, quality, productivity and schedule targets.
• Plan labour requirements, forecast resources and coordinate work fronts.
• Monitor project progress, manhours, productivity and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and company procedures.
• Manage mechanical equipment installations, piping systems, rotating equipment and commissioning activities.
• Conduct workplace inspections, toolbox talks and safety interactions.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs and isometrics.
• Coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials for efficient project delivery.
• Prepare daily reports, progress updates and construction documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, engineering, quality and HSE teams.
