Job summary

Motion Group seeks an experienced Structural Steel Installation Supervisor to lead on-site erection and installation across Hunter, Central Coast, Greater Sydney, and other project locations. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating crews, subcontractors, cranes, plant, and materials to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes on time.

You will work with Project Managers, clients, engineers, and suppliers to resolve issues, review drawings, and ensure adherence to the project program.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising steel erection or installation projects.
• Hands-on experience with rigging, lifting, and erection processes.
• Experience leading employees, subcontractors, and crane crews.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily steel erection and installation works on site.
• Coordinate labour, cranes, and equipment to meet schedules.
• Review drawings and lift plans before work starts.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans and quality standards.
• Maintain site records, progress photos, and handover docs.
