Job summary

Aruma is seeking an Employment Coach to support people with disability in achieving meaningful employment outcomes. The role involves delivering tailored group and individual learning sessions, both in 1:1 and small-group settings, across Taree and occasional Port Macquarie coverage.

You’ll contribute to employment readiness, progress reporting, and stakeholder collaboration in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with disability in employment or vocational contexts.
• Strong facilitation skills with ability to tailor content for diverse learners.
• Organised, proactive and committed to inclusive opportunities.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including conflict resolution.
• Ability to build relationships across community networks and industry.
• High attention to detail in administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Innovative and solution-focused in content delivery.
• Willingness to travel regionally and to non-Aruma workplaces as required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and WWCC are preferred.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to insured vehicle.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions focused on employment readiness.
• Adapt content to suit individual learning styles and capacities.
• Guide participants through their employment journey with empathy and professionalism.
• Prepare and complete documentation and reporting related to Employment Assistance.
• Accurately capture and communicate participant progress.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
• Travel as needed to regional sites to support participants.
