Job summary

Lane Cove Council is seeking two Development Compliance Officers to join the Regulatory Services team. You will provide advice on development and building compliance, respond to service requests and assist with certificates and safety statements.

Two permanent full-time positions, on-site at Lane Cove. Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or relevant experience, plus a C-class licence, are required. The role supports a progressive, inclusive community and offers professional development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying or relevant experience.
• Current C Class Driver Licence.
• Knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice to the public and staff on development, building compliance and unauthorised works.
• Respond to service requests in Building/Development Compliance area.
• Assist the Principal Building Surveyor with Building Information Certificates and Annual Fire Safety Statements.
