Council on the lower North Shore is seeking two motivated Development Compliance Officers to join our team. You will provide advice to the public and staff on development, building compliance and unauthorised works, and support the Building/Development Compliance area.
The roles will respond to service requests such as illegal building works, illegal land users and swimming pool safety, with duties including assisting the Principal Building Surveyor with Building Information Certificates and
Hours: Permanent Full Time, 35 hours per week

About the role
You will be responsible for providing advice
to both the public and staff on matters relating to development, building
compliance and unauthorised works. The two roles have been identified to assist with the workload in the Building/ Development Compliance area and will in short respond to service requests-
Assist the Principle Building Surveyor with –
Building Information Certificates & Annual Fires Safety Statements
About you
The
successful candidate will have:
Proven ability to write correspondence, reports and submissions
including documentation for legal matters.
