Job summary

DLF Seeds is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Melbourne. You will be the trusted partner for customers, handling orders, stock availability, and delivery coordination while supporting sales and operations across sites and freight partners.

You’ll build rapport quickly, work in a fast-paced environment, and take ownership to deliver accurate information and positive outcomes for customers and the sales team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience ideally within a wholesale, agricultural or similar environment.
• Strong customer service skills and the confidence to build rapport.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems helps but is not essential.

About The Role

This is not a “just key orders” customer service role.

You will become a trusted partner for our customers, from small independent stores through to major national accounts. You will help them navigate seasonal demand, product availability, timelines, freight requirements and supply. You will build rapport quickly, spot opportunities and guide customers with accurate and timely information.

You will work at the heart of the business. Your day will involve creating orders, ensuring stock is available in the right place at the right time and collaborating with sales reps, sites, freight partners and store managers. The role is varied, fast paced and rewarding for someone who enjoys taking ownership and making decisions that create positive outcomes.

Permanent 38 hours per week: on site role

Key Responsibilities

We Are Looking For Someone With

• Previous customer service experience ideally within a wholesale, agricultural or similar environment

• The ability to identify opportunities and support sales through strong service
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence using systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems is helpful but not essential
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
