Job summary

Weldworks Australia Pty Ltd – West Ryde NSW is seeking a Construction Project Manager for on-site leadership of residential, commercial and civil projects in Sydney. The role requires 2–3 years’ relevant experience, a suitable degree, and the ability to plan, coordinate and control project execution with a focus on safety and budget adherence.

The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive salary of A$90,000 to A$98,000 plus super.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Project Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects.
• Experience reading architectural drawings, engineering plans and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
• Establish project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, labour and equipment; manage contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare tenders, quotations and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building legislation, standards and safety procedures.
