Job summary

Developcorp Constructions Pty Ltd in Parramatta is seeking a Project Manager to support the Construction Manager and Directors across multiple Sydney sites. You will coordinate with Site Foremen, Contracts Manager, Private Certifier and other consultants to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality.

Requirements: 5+ years PM experience in building, a Bachelor of Construction Management, multi‑unit residential projects ($5–40 million), WHS/NCC knowledge, and

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the building industry.
• Completed Bachelor of Construction Management course.
• Experience on multi-unit residential projects valued $5–40 million.
• WHS legislation knowledge and NCC familiarity.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel & Project and Procore.
• Professional telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Must have own transport.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with and taking instruction from the Construction Manager and Directors.
• Coordinating with Site Foremen & Contracts Manager to meet budget, time frame and quality.
• Managing projects from commencement to completion, including handover.
• Coordinating with Private Certifier, Architect and other Consultants to solve design issues.
• Establish and manage construction programmes and milestones.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates.

Developcorp Constructions Pty Ltd is a mid- tier builder based in Parramatta CBD with the main focus of constructing mixed-use and Residential developments. Developcorp Constructions are currently commencing numerous construction sites around Sydney and are searching for a Project Manager that has the ambition and ability to effectively and support the Construction Manager and Directors.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Project Manager will include but are not limited to the following:

• Working closely with and taking instruction from the Construction Manager and Directors.
• Coordinating with Site Foremen & Contracts Manager to ensure projects are completed within budget, specified time-frame and quality standards.
• Managing projects from commencement to the completion, including the handover process.
• Coordinating with the Private Certifier, Architect and other Consultants to problem solve and coordinate the design.
• Establish and manage construction programmes and ensure milestones are achieved by the specified time-frames.
• Managed and monitor contract administration, project performance, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Effectively partaking inProject Meetings and providing project updates

To be considered for the role of a Project Manager you will require:

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Project Manager within the building industry.
• To have completed a Bachelor of Construction Management Course.
• Experience working on multi-unit residential projects of value $5-40 million.
• In depth understanding of Workplace Health and Safety legislation and requirements.
• In depth understanding of the NCC and relevant Construction Standards and Legislations.
• Advance knowledge of MS Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel & Project) and Procore.
• Professional telephone communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the attention to detail.
