Job summary

DCOH is seeking a Victoria-based Project Manager to lead on-site execution from award to handover. You will ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, coordinating with Site Managers and project teams.

The role requires a degree or diploma in construction management, proven experience in commercial projects, strong coordination skills, and a proactive approach to risk and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Building & Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering commercial construction projects in a project management or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
• Knowledge of construction contracts compliance and safety requirements.
• Ability to lead teams in live delivery environments and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of construction projects in line with programme, budget and contractual requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day project execution with Site Managers to ensure safe, coordinated delivery.
• Monitor progress, address delays, conflicts and delivery risks.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are implemented on site.
• Procure trade packages, develop scopes of work and manage subcontractor engagement.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance and contractual obligations.
• Review subcontractor claims and variations with Contracts Administrator.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor programme performance, budgets and procurement efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain project records, RFIs, drawings and document control.
• Lead commissioning, defect rectification, certification and handover activities.
