Job summary

DCOH Services Pty Ltd in Victoria seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead on-site execution of construction projects from award to handover. You will manage safety, quality, budgets and programme, coordinate Site Managers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with contracts and legislation.

With a diploma/degree in construction management and proven delivery of commercial projects, you will mentor teams and represent DCOH professionally on site and in client meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building & Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Project Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects through all phases of construction including structure, services, finishes and handover.
• Sound knowledge of construction contracts, compliance obligations and relevant legislation.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within construction environments.
• Proven ability to lead and manage project teams in a live delivery environment.
• Experience procuring trade packages, preparing scopes of work and managing subcontractor engagement.
• Ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Experience managing project budgets, programme performance and cost controls.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulators.
• High-level organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Proficiency in project and site management software (HammerTech, Procore, MS Project, Aconex).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of construction projects in accordance with programme, budget and contractual requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day project execution with Site Managers to ensure safe, coordinated and productive delivery.
• Monitor project progress and address delays, sequencing challenges and risks.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are implemented and reviewed on site.
• Procure trade packages, develop scopes of work and manage subcontractor engagement.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance and contractual obligations.
• Review subcontractor claims, variations and extension of time with Contracts Administrator.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor programme performance, budgets and delivery outcomes; identify cost risks and procurement efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations throughout lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project records, RFIs, site instructions and correspondence.
• Manage documentation, drawing registers, revisions and document control.
• Support reporting, compliance, certification and close-out requirements.
• Lead commissioning, defect rectification, certification and handover activities.
• Mentor project personnel and Represent DCOH professionally.
