Crossmuller is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician for our Construction team at Somersby, NSW. You will support Civil Engineers and Technologists across projects, developing plans, reviewing briefs, and ensuring safety and quality in the field.

The role requires a Civil Engineering Diploma or equivalent, basic materials knowledge, ability to read drawings, and strong communication skills. Applicants may undergo a pre-employment medical exam as part of selection.

• Ability to read and interpret simple engineering drawings, plans and specs.

Mansioni

• Develop drawings, diagrams, charts and design plans for civil infra projects.
• Carry out and oversee on-site works and complete civil engineering testing procedures.
• Review task briefs, determine methods and select tools/equipment.
• Gather and evaluate data and perform relevant calculations.
• Calculate material and cost estimates and ensure work meets specs and standards.
• Review civil works on-site and coordinate upkeep/repair activities.
• Perform field and lab analysis of construction materials and soils; support traffic surveys.
