Job summary

Frontline Retail South Australia is seeking an experienced Department Manager for furnishings at Munno Para. The role combines hands-on floor leadership with stock control, visual merchandising and active involvement in promotional activity to drive customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service, monitor department KPIs, manage stock flows and ensure presentation standards are met while contributing to a positive, high-performing store culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership or supervision.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Experience with visual merchandising standards.
• Ability to handle high-volume stock and active environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• First Aid certification or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day running.
• Lead and motivate team to deliver customer service and results.
• Monitor sales performance and KPIs.
• Manage stock flow, inventory standards and stock recovery.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Plan and execute catalogue campaigns and promotions.
• Lead by example on the shop floor.
• Identify process and performance improvements.
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture.
