Job summary

EIL Global is seeking experienced IT Support Engineers to provide on‑call, freelance and casual onsite IT support in Canberra. The role focuses on desktop support, AV for meeting rooms, and video conferencing systems, with a strong emphasis on customer service and independent work.

Applicants should have hands‑on AV support experience, Windows OS deployment skills, and basic network troubleshooting. Flexible on‑site assignments and collaboration with enterprise clients are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, desktop support, or field services.
• Hands-on AV support and troubleshooting experience.
• Know-how of meeting room AV systems and video conferencing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Install, upgrade, configure, and re-image Windows OS.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Provide AV support for meeting rooms and collaboration spaces.
• Set up and troubleshoot AV equipment and video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot video conferencing platforms (Teams Rooms or similar).
• Perform basic LAN/WAN network troubleshooting.
• Document activities and resolutions; coordinate with stakeholders.
