Job summary

UGL is delivering major rail infrastructure improvements in Australia. We are seeking an OHLE Supervisor to oversee day-to-day OHLE construction activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project specifications.

You will monitor installation work, manage resources, and support testing and commissioning activities, contributing to on-time project delivery for the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail program.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising OHLE construction crews on rail infrastructure
• Strong understanding of OHLE installation methodologies and related infrastructure
• Proven ability to deliver activities on schedule and within budget
• Commitment to safety, environmental obligations and quality standards
• Ability to lead crews and coordinate subcontractor performance

Responsibilities

• Supervise OHLE construction activities to ensure safety and quality.
• Coordinate construction crews and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Monitor installation activities including poles, masts, insulators, wiring, and OHLE infrastructure.
• Ensure work follows drawings, specifications, ITPs and work packs.
• Monitor resources and flag potential shortages or delays.
• Identify issues and coordinate with engineering to resolve them.
• Maintain quality through inspections and documentation of works.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and defect rectification.
• Complete site records, reports and progress updates on time.
• Identify risks to delivery and escalate as required.
• Coordinate with OHLE Superintendent and other delivery disciplines.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
