Job summary
UGL is seeking an experienced OHLE Supervisor to oversee daily overhead line equipment construction activities for the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail project in Queensland. You will coordinate crews, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues on site.
The role requires strong knowledge of OHLE installation methodologies, including catenary systems, wiring, and related infrastructure, with a track record of on-time delivery within budget
Qualifications
- Experience supervising OHLE construction crews on rail infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of OHLE installation methods (catenary systems, wiring, masts, poles).
- Proven ability to deliver construction activities on time within budget and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily OHLE construction activities ensuring safety and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate construction crews and subcontractors to match project schedules.
- Monitor installations including poles, masts, insulators, wiring and related OHLE infrastructure.
- Ensure work conforms to drawings, specs, ITPs and work packs.
- Maintain records and deliver progress updates and documentation.
