Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an OHLE Project Engineer to contribute to the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail project in Brisbane. The role covers design, coordination, and delivery of overhead line equipment works through design development, construction, and commissioning phases.

You will review designs, support safety and quality standards, coordinate with multiple teams, and help ensure on-time delivery while managing risks and costs in a major rail program.

Responsibilities

• Review OHLE design drawings, models and technical specs.
• Prepare and update OHLE documentation such as work packs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with design teams, site engineers and contractors on engineering requirements.
• Attend daily site or project coordination meetings.
• Monitor OHLE construction activities for compliance with standards and drawings.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, clearances, foundations, and mast/structure placements.
• Assist with reviewing safe work procedures and construction methodologies.
• Respond to RFIs and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Support energisation readiness, testing and commissioning planning.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers work.
