Job summary

EnerMech are seeking a Crane Maintenance Technician on a casual offshore basis to carry out routine and planned maintenance on pedestal cranes and associated equipment on offshore installations in Western Australia.

The role requires Mechanical Trade qualifications, fault finding across hydraulic and mechanical systems, and the ability to read OEM manuals and drawings; offshore certifications such as BOSIET are desirable.

Qualifications

• Crane maintenance experience and major inspections of lifting gear.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults on cranes.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and planned maintenance on pedestal cranes and associated components.
• Document maintenance tasks and spares usage; perform functional testing.
• Work with verification inspectors during inspections and load testing.
• Assist platform maintenance crew on other mechanical plant as required.
