Job summary

DOF is seeking a Crane Technician to maintain crane systems and lifting gear on our offshore vessels in Australian waters. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to DOF’s values while supporting remote/offshore operations.

Ideal candidates will have subsea project or offshore oil & gas experience, a Marine Engineer certificate (STCW III/2), and relevant medical certifications. Opportunities for international deployment may arise.

Qualifications

• Experience on Subsea projects or Offshore Oil & Gas vessels.
• Certificate of Competency as Marine Engineer (STCW III/2) or equivalent.
• Valid AMSA or international Offshore Medical.
• BOSIET-CAEBS certification is beneficial.
• MISC certification is beneficial.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptive, proactive and able to work offshore remotely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain crane and lifting gear on DOF vessels as directed.
• Ensure safe and efficient crane operations per Chief Engineer.
• Support offshore operations and adhere to DOF values and standards.
