Job summary

Sarens is seeking a motivated Fitter / Crane Mechanic for their Maddington Depot in Australia. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining our fleet of cranes and heavy equipment, ensuring safety and reliability. Candidates should have a trade certificate in Heavy Diesel, and three years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include mechanical maintenance, travel to remote sites for fleet support, and maintaining accurate service records. A Construction White Card and relevant high-risk licenses are required, with training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience working with any heavy diesel equipment.
• Construction White Card, Working at Heights certificate, and High Risk Licences LF and RI.
• Ability to work both within operations team and independently at remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and hydraulic maintenance across the fleet.
• Complete general and preventative maintenance.
• Travel as required to support fleet maintenance at project sites.
