Job summary

Datadog in Sydney is seeking an Office Operations Associate to join our Operations team. You will help keep employees safe, happy and productive by managing in-office needs, events, and supplies, while partnering with leadership to ensure smooth scale in a dynamic environment.

The role requires being in-office 5 days a week, with responsibilities ranging from visitor reception to coordinating office moves and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a rapidly growing, fast paced company.
  • In-office 5 days a week in Sydney.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with coworkers, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors and supports employees in the office.
  • Serve as the primary in-office contact for needs, creating a friendly, professional environment.
  • Lead daily floor walkthroughs; identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain relationships with coworking vendors, building management, and partners.
  • Work with Security to implement safety protocols.
  • Handle service tickets with prioritization and follow-through.
  • Manage office pantry supplies and restocking to meet standards.
  • Organize monthly and ad-hoc employee events.
  • Coordinate with regional teams for consistent workplace processes.
  • Assist with office moves, build-outs, and openings as needed.

the company is looking for an Office Operations Associate to join our Operations team in Sydney to help us with a range of responsibilities to support our rapidly-growing office. You’ll help keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which could mean ensuring we’re not running out of espresso beans and pretzels, planning an event for 80 people, or hosting a 50 guest meetup into our Sydney office - every day will be different.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the face of the company by welcoming visitors and supporting employees in the office.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all in-office needs, creating a friendly, helpful, and professional environment
  • Own and lead daily floor walkthroughs, identifying and resolving operational issues proactively to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with coworking vendors/building management & vendor partners
  • Partner with the Security team to ensure the implementation of all safety protocols
  • Serve as a main point of contact for incoming service tickets, ensuring timely updates, proper prioritization, and follow-through
  • Work with vendor partners to keep the office stocked with food, snacks, and pantry supplies, ensuring everything meets our the company standard for quality and consistency
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and ensure timely restocking to support daily operations
  • Arrange fun and engaging events for employees - both on a monthly cadence and an ad hoc basis
  • Work closely with regional teammates to maintain smooth office operations and ensure consistency across all workplace processes
  • Where required, work alongside various Operations teams to assist with office moves, build-outs and openings
