Access 2 Place in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Office Manager to deliver high-quality, responsive administrative services and operational support across the organisation.
You will coordinate office projects, manage records, support HR processes, WHS administration, and handle enquiries from clients and staff, helping the team achieve strategic priorities.

In this hands on Office Manager role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive and efficient administrative services and operational support across the organisation. The role ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office and provides exceptional operational support to employees, clients and external stakeholders, contributing to the achievement of Access 2 Place's strategic objectives and organisational priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
The efficient coordination of office projects that ensures Access 2 Place and its resources, run efficiently and effectively.
The Access 2 Place teams are supported through professional, timely and proactive administrative services.
External clients and stakeholders receive an exceptional customer service through the professional management and triaging of in person, phone, email and other general enquiries.
Organisation inboxes are managed, with enquiries triaged effectively to ensure there is a consistent, coordinated response to general enquiries received.
Office facilities are managed and kept at a high standard, with adequate supplies that meet the needs of the organisation and enable effective service delivery.
Database and record management processes are coordinated to ensure compliance and best practice information management practices.
People-centric Human Resource processes are implemented to support the employment journey, including recruitment and selection, onboarding and induction support and HR records management.
WHS administration requirements are managed, including coordination of WHS training, policies, procedures, audits, records management and hazard and incident reporting.
Organisation publications including the Annual Report are professionally collated and published, ensuring consistency with style guides, branding requirements and document control procedures.
Access 2 Place events are successfully coordinated through a high standard of professional event management support.
We’re looking for a detailed-oriented, organised individual who enjoys finding answers and combining numbers with purpose. You will have strong financial and accounting skills.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Demonstrated experience in a senior administration or office management role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in the management of work undertaken.
Ability to effectively provide direction, training, guidance and coaching to team members.
High level of personal motivation and initiative.
Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to think creatively and possess sound problem-solving capabilities.
Good understanding of WHS policies, procedures, legislation and practices.
A capacity to work with members of the A2P team, clients, staff and volunteers with warmth and empathy to project the values of A2P in all that they do.
Experience working in the disability and/or community housing sector.
Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS.
Understanding of common tenancy and maintenance issues in the community housing sector
Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
