Job description

Karabiner is a leading façade access and height safety company based in Hillsdale, Sydney. We work with many of Australia's leading Tier 1 builders and property developers, delivering specialist solutions across major commercial construction projects.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our small, dynamic team. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of the business and working closely with management, project managers, technicians and suppliers.

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative and can keep things organised in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important role in keeping the office, warehouse and wider business running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing daily office operations, including opening the office, office enquiries, supplies and facilities
  • Coordinating warehouse activities, deliveries, stock, tools, uniforms and equipment records
  • Managing fleet administration, including registrations, servicing, repairs and maintenance reminders
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, offboarding and general employee administration
  • Maintaining employee records, including licences, training and certification requirements
  • Assisting with workers compensation and rehabilitation administration
  • Coordinating company phones, laptops, user access, IT providers and software subscriptions
  • Supporting marketing, advertising, website and recruitment activities
  • Maintaining business registers, templates, records and filing systems
  • Assisting with supplier setup, purchasing and general procurement administration
  • Supporting Simpro, SharePoint and other business systems as required
  • Assisting with timesheets, labour dockets and compliance documentation
  • Maintaining EBA and CFMEU-related workforce records, including classifications, allowances, onboarding and site requirements
  • Following up administrative tasks and requests to make sure they are completed on time
  • Providing general support to the team and assisting with other office and business needs as they arise
What You'll Bring

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in office administration, business administration or a similar role (minimum of two/three years' experience)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Strong initiative and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with systems such as Simpro, SharePoint and Adobe InDesign are an advantage
