Job summary

ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is seeking applications for an Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC) Case Manager (ASO6) to deliver end-to-end, integrated case management for detainees, developing and reviewing management plans to support timely, high-quality interventions.

You will promote release readiness through targeted resources and services, provide reports to Courts and authorities, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders while managing competing priorities in a complex

Qualifications

• Experience working with detainees is highly desirable.
• Background police checks will be conducted.
• Driver’s licence is essential.
• Pre-employment medical and WWVP registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end integrated management for detainees, developing and reviewing case management strategies to ensure timely high-quality interventions.
• Oversee development and implementation of individualised case management plans to support release readiness and address social exclusion factors.
• Provide professional advice and written reports to Courts, releasing authorities and other statutory bodies on offender management and risk outcomes.
