Job summary

Wellington Correctional Centre seeks a Case Management Officer to deliver evidence-based case management to a mixed offender caseload. You will assess risks and needs, develop personalised plans, and collaborate with internal and external service providers to support rehabilitation.

You will work within the Service Integration team to monitor progress, prepare reports, and build relationships with stakeholders to aid reintegration and reduce reoffending.

Qualifications

• A current Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (or ability to complete via Corrective Services Academy).
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to drive as required.
• Experience delivering evidence-based interventions to diverse offender groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based case management services to offenders in line with legislation and guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks, needs and strengths; develop personalised case plans.
• Apply motivational interviewing to support behavioural change and offender accountability.
