G Adventures is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for the Oceania region. The role leads a diverse team to deliver a high‑quality tour program across Australia and New Zealand, focusing on growth, profitability and safety.

You will manage suppliers, budgets, and regional operations while driving continuous improvement and brand standards. The position offers leadership across offices and field-based teams in a dynamic, travel-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in travel industry and operations leadership.
• Experience in supplier management and negotiation.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Strong crisis management and safety focus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across regions.
• Ability to mentor staff and build regional capability.
• Right to Work in Australia or New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operations across Oceania, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability and quality.
• Manage supplier relationships, risk, and compliance to uphold brand standards.
• Oversee a remote team of office staff and tour personnel with a focus on development.
• Drive continuous improvement, budgeting and cost reduction in collaboration with Buying and Product teams.
• Represent the company with tourism boards and industry partners, maintaining strong external relationships.
• Ensure safety and customer satisfaction across tours, transport and accommodations.
