Job summary

The Earthshot Prize seeks a Director of Oceania to lead impact and partnerships across Australia and the Pacific. You will be the senior voice in the region, building an ecosystem of partners, funders, and changemakers ahead of major Earthshot moments.

This is a fast-paced, autonomous role with global support to secure legacy funding and sponsor regional events. You will work with philanthropists, foundations, and investors, shaping local networks and speaking on regional stages to advance

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering impact through partnerships.
• Strong autonomous leadership in a regional context.
• Experience raising multi-year funding or gifts.
• Extensive networks across Australian philanthropy, business, government, civil society.
• Confident communicator with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish regional ecosystem by building an advisory council with First Nations and Pacific voices.
• Grow the regional community of supporters, nominators, advisors, finalists, philanthropists, investors, and friends.
• Lead on securing regional sponsorship for major events with support from global team.
• Design and deliver a regional impact strategy for Australia and the Pacific.
• Drive momentum plans for finalists and winners and connect to regional partners.
• Secure multi-year legacy funding for long-term regional programme.
• Act as senior face of The Earthshot Prize in the region and liaise with media.
